Manifestation Is Not a Luxury — It’s a Response to Oppression

There’s a part of me that says when there are atrocities in the world, I should stop.

I should stop talking about manifestation

I should stop speaking to hopeful outcomes

I should stop talking to people about how they could change their individual lives because, after all, we’re seeing everything from genocide to police violence to climate collapse

This part of me is very convincing. It’s also in the collective consciousness. I feel it. I feel the powerful projection.

My past response to this has been to just keep on trucking along anyway with some shame and guilt in my heart. “Not sure anyone cares about this right now, but people still want help with stuff and I’m still here,” said in a very small voice to myself.

Then, there are the truer parts of myself that understand something much deeper.

When you are paralyzed by what you see - whether it’s across the ocean or a state over or in your literal back yard - you have lost all of our power already.

Frozen in fear and rage is not a useful state. It is not a state that can inspire or incite change. It is not a state that begets what YOU want to see in the world. Watching horrors unfold and either absorbing them in silence or reposting them over and over and….that’s it….perpetuates your state of overwhelm.

All of the work I do…ALL OF THE WORK I DO…is aimed at bringing more and more choice to every single individual who comes through my metaphorical doors. It is framed as manifestation - because it helps you manifest. It is framed as turning a masterclass into a workshop so more people in your coaching world gain the tools and practices and POWER for themselves more quickly. It is all entirely based on owning your personal authority and choosing from your place of grounded certainty and opening the world to what your soul has always known is possible.

When you have more personal sovereignty, more money, more CHOICE you get to create more and more of the world in your vision instead of being at the whim of someone else’s vision.

When your ONLY action in the face of atrocities is to spread the atrocities (even when you say to yourself “people need to know about this and know I’m against it”) this is a sign you have relinquished your choice. You are living in someone else’s vision even if you don’t agree with it.

So, finding the yoga class or breath technique or entrepreneur class or money coach that feels like it offers you a little more room in your life, a little bit more of you to you is IMPERATIVE.

Being able to come down out of your amygdala and return your attention to your immediate circumstances and ask yourself how you’d like to improve upon them with what you have and what you can gain access to IS THE WAY.

This is what helps you, which is what helps your family, which is what helps your neighbors, which is what helps the world.

I’ll be over here talking about manifestation and workshops — not as a luxury, but as a reclamation. If you’re still with me, I’m so glad. We need each other here.
